At Statewide Driving School, it is our mission to provide the student with quality driver education and training while demonstrating our number-one priority: "Safety First", and meeting all the requirements set forth by the State of Maryland - Motor Vehicle Administration. It is our vision to provide the student with quality driver education training while promoting leadership and guidance in the development of uniform laws and ordinances pertaining to the licensing of a novice driver. The school is committed to building confidence behind the wheel. We want to teach the new driver sound knowledge, fundamental skills of driving, and new behind the wheel technology. Statewide is committed to serving you. We ensure a quality learning environment by not over crowding our classroom and vehicles.
Driver Education Program
This program consist of thirty (30) hours of classroom instruction, and six (6) hours of behind the wheel training. Anyone who is applying for a Maryland Driver's License must complete this program.
Classroom instruction is completed within a two week time frame, and the behind the wheel training is completed within a 2 - 3 week time frame.

Transportation
All students are required to get to and from the classroom instruction.
Students who live in the surrounding cities of our Oxon Hill, MD and Fort Washington, MD location will get picked up and dropped off at home for all driving lessons.
Building Confidence Behind the Wheel
It is required by the State of Maryland - MVA for all first time drivers to complete 30 hours of classroom instruction and 6 hours of actual behind the wheel training. Our program includes a variety of different driving lessons ranging between beltway driving, working on basic driving skills, and of course, practicing the parallel parking and reverse two point turn manuever.
