Do I need a learner's permit
You do not need a learner's permit to engage in the classroom portion of the class but you will need a permit when you begin the portion of the program
Are classes held virtually?
Yes! Classes are held virtually and yes, your camera must be turned on during class.
How do I register?
Please call or text to find out about registration. Once payment is submitted, you will receive email confirmation that you are officially enrolled into the program as well as receive your zoom link.
How long is the class?
The virtual classroom portion is held Monday through Friday for two weeks. We sometimes hold classes on the weekends also. The driving portion of the program takes a few weeks to complete.
Do you pick me up for my driving lesson?
We are based in Oxon hill, MD so we do pick up and drop off students in Oxon Hill and other surrounding cities. If you're address is further out, we would coordinate a day and time for you to meet the instructor for your lesson. We can confirm whether your address is within a pick up area during the registration process.
Do I need my Rookie Book for this class?
No! you do not need the Rookie Book for Driver's Education but you will need it for when you take your MD road test. This book is needed whenever you out driving with FAMILY/ FRIENDS. We will also explain this book during virtual class.
What will I be learning in class?
There are 10 units within this curriculum created by the State of Maryland. Students will be engaged in powerpoint presentations, videos, online worksheets, quizzes, and a final exam on the last day of class.
Do I need to provide a car for this program?
All driver's education students will be completing lessons in the school's car. No personal cars are used in this program.
